Sheri is an award-winning communications strategist, community liaison, and environmental advocate who has dedicated her career to social causes that benefit the greater good. For nearly 20 years, she has worked in the nonprofit and private sectors, running communications campaigns for startup companies, political candidates, interest groups, environmental organizations, and Australian government alliances. Sheri is committed to the fight for
environmental and economic justice, ensuring that everyone has access to a clean, healthy, and safe space to live, work, learn, and pray.

Jaleen joins Shannon Strategies as a Programs Associate and our latest communications intern. He brings three years of experience in community engagement and advocacy, with a strong focus on youth empowerment, political organizing, and digital advocacy. Over the past year, he has supported election campaigns and managed social media for political figures and nonprofit organizations.
Beyond his role here, Jaleen serves as YDA’s youth leader at RISE for Youth and is an active member of the Richmond Crusade for Voters. His dedication to advancing civic participation, uplifting community voices, and creating opportunities for underrepresented groups to engage in the political process makes him a great addition to our team.
